Privacy notice

We count that a tour was opened and which viewpoints were looked at, and for how long. Our own view counts store no IP addresses and set no cross-site identifiers. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel also run on tour pages — see "Cookies, analytics and advertising" below. If you decline, nothing is sent to Google or Meta. Sending an enquiry is reported to them only as "an enquiry was sent on this tour": your name and contact details are never passed to either.

Where a link is referred from, we keep only the site it came from — never the full address, which could carry a search term or a private link.

A tour protected by a password sets one cookie so you do not have to re-enter it. It is signed, applies to that one tour, and expires after twelve hours.

We store the name you give us, and any phone number, email address or message you choose to add, together with which property you were looking at.

We store this only if you tick the consent box, and we record the moment you ticked it and the version of this notice you were shown.

It is passed to the property developer whose tour you were viewing, so they can respond. How they then use it is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one.

Enquiries are deleted 2 years after they are sent. The deletion date is recorded on the record itself when it is created, so a change to this policy never extends how long an existing enquiry is held.

Tour view counts are aggregate and carry nothing that identifies a person.

Ask the developer whose tour you used, or write to us at the address below, and the enquiry will be deleted. We can also send you a copy of exactly what is held.

You do not need an account to make either request, and we will not ask you to create one.
